OPI Live and Let Die

Hey girls!
I am wearing this color at the moment. It is from the OPI Skyfall collection. This Live and Let Die polish is a creamy shade of dark green with gold shimmers in it. I was not sure whether to buy it or not. It looks interesting in the bottle but I wasn't sure if I would wear it often. I am so happy now that I bought it, because it is gorgeous. It looks stunning on the nails. It looks almost black from a distance but when you looks more closely you can see that it is dark green with shimmers. I think that it is a great thing, because you can wear it with almost every outfit. Okay, I will stop here. Enjoy the pictures.
Oh, almost forgot. I painted my nails five days ago and they haven't chipped at all.  And also you can easily get along with only one coat.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish lip pencil in Indian Pink

Hey girls!
I wanted to show you my favorite lip of the moment. I think this color is perfect for autumn and winter and also for holidays. I used only this lip pencil and nothing more. Of course you can use a similar lipstick on top of it, or a lip gloss, but I love this color and I like my lips to be mat especially if they are in bright color. I don't like when my hair sticks to the gloss and all that jazz.
I think that this color is gorgeous and it will suit all skin tones. This lip liner is very affordable as well and great quality. I will check out more of these Lasting Finish lip pencils.

The Balm - Balm Jovi Rockstar Face Palette

Hey girls!
I wanted to show you this amazing palette. This is going to be a big blog post with a lot of picture, because I just love this palette so much. I saw this one in one of emilynoel83 videos in youtube, so I had to have it!
It's my first purchase from The Balm. I can't buy it here in Latvia, so I purchased it online from feelunique.com for 34£. I think that this would be a great gift for a friend or sister. And it is totally worth the money.

Lote is almost in every picture, so I hope you like cats! 

 Very colorful and crazy packaging. 

As you can see it is quite big but very thin.

It has very lovely heart shaped mirror inside.

 So, palette has 12 eye shadows inside, blush, highlighter an two lip/cheek colors. 

 These are the lip colors and as you can see there is also a small guide how to make some looks. 

This is how the palette looks totally opened. 

And now the swatches:

These four colors are called HEAVY METAL

from left to right: Metal-ica, Iron Maid-in, Lead Zeppelin, Alice Copper

These four are called Classical

From left to right: Presto, Moderato, Allegro, Adagio

And the last four are called Alternative

From left to right: Third eye blinded (can't really see this one), rem, The Stroke, Blink 1982

 Solid Gold highlighter (the same as Mary-Lou Manizer) and Don't You Want Me? blush (the same as Frat Boy)

And last but not least the lip colors: Milly and Vanilly

I think that this palette is a must have. The eye shadows are very pigmented and super smooth. We have here some matte shadows as well as shimmery ones.We have here some highlight colors, crease colors and also some very  extraordinary ones like Alice Copper, Lead Zeppelin, rem etc. All of these colors are gorgeous.And the blush, and the highlighter. I can't say enough for this palette. 

For me the best thing about this palette is it's packaging. So colorful an contains so much stuff inside, but still not very bulky. Also the price is very appropriate. 

Almost forgot to mention the names, but I guess you already noticed. Everything is well-considered.

I will stop here. I have pain in my fingers from typing so much and so fast. lol

OPI - You callin' me a lyre?

Hello girls!
As you can see in photos below my nails are shortened. When I cut them so short I always paint them with this OPI - You callin' me a lyre? nail polish. It is from OPI New York City Ballet collection.
I love this color. As you can guess it's extremely sheer, that's the reason why I use this polish only when my nails are really short, because I don't like how it looks on long nails.
I think that my hands look really clean and elegant with this nail polish on. Every girl should own similar color like this.

OPI - Die Another Day

Hey guys!
I haven't write anything in weeks. It's because my camera was not with me, so I couldn't take any pictures. I have a lot of things to share. Today it will be one of my nail polishes from the OPI Skyfall collection.
At first, I wasn't sure about this one. When I looked up all the photos of polishes from this collection in other blogs I was not impressed with this one. Everyone loved it, so I had to give it a try. Also maybe because I didn't buy the Golden eye, so I had to get one instead. So I bought it and I really like it. It is shimmery orange-red. There is nothing special about it, but it looks quite lovely and it goes with every outfit. Maybe not every, but you get what I mean. It really is holiday polish. Great for winter and fall time. I think that I'm not gonna wear it in spring. Then I take out all my crazy polishes like yellow, pink, green, blue. But for winter, this polish is great for everyday basis.
There is one thing about this polish that I love. You can easily get away with only 1 coat. I used 2 coats, because that's what I always do, but if you are in a hurry, it's great to have this kind of polish.

OPI - Casino Royale

Hey girls!
This nail polish (Casino Royale) is from the OPI Skyfall collection. This is the color I knew I will like the most, and yes, this color is amazing. From now on, this is my favorite nail polish. It's just so beautiful. It's like a berry color, but quite dark. In bottle it doesn't look so dark, than on the nails, maybe because I got 2 coats on. It's so creamy and it dries very fast as well. I think this is the perfect autumn/winter nail polish. If you don't have it - get it! It really is worth it!

Before I bought it I looked up in various blogs how this polish looks on nails and in the pictures it looked quite purple, but it really isn't just purple nail polish. It's like burgundy purple, in some light it looks more reddish in some more purple. But it is quite dark. I shot these pictures after wearing this polish for three days, and it's not so bad I think. Tomorrow I will try different polish from this collection!

OPI Skyfall

Hey girls.
Yesterday I bought four nail polishes from the OPI Skyfall Collection. There are 12 colors total in the collection and also a golden top coat. I bought only four of them, because I loved these four. I never buy all of the polishes from the collection. I buy only the polishes which I love, because I have quite a big nail polish collection of my own and also I don't have so much money to spend it all on nail polishes.
So, these are the four that I got:

From the left: Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Skyfall and Live and Let Die

Die Another Die looks more orange in the pictures, in real life it is more reddish and Skyfall looks more red in the pictures but in the real life it is more brown (It is because of the sun). I was surprised when I saw Skyfall in the shop, because in all blogs it looked more reddish. In the OPI home page it looks purple. Actually it is quite brown, I would say it is like brownish burgundy cream. I love it though. Casino Royale is berry purple (gorgeous) and Live and Let Die is green with gold shimmers. I will write a review about all of them in these next weeks. 

If you haven't bought any polish from this collection, I think it is a must-have for girls who are obsessed with nail polishes. There are a lot of different colors in this collection, so anybody can find a polish which they love.

Orly - HALO

Hey girls!
In one of my posts I have already mentioned this nail polish. It is from the Orly holiday 2012 Naughty Or Nice Collection. I bought two colors - Miss Conduct and this one (HALO). I already have a review on Miss Conduct (click here). I am so impressed with the Miss Conduct, it is not the case with this one. I have no idea why I bought this color. The polish itself is very nice, but I don't have a clue where I could wear this kind of polish. It reminds me of festivity and when I asked my boyfriend what he think about my nails, he immediately said :"They look like New Year". I somehow thought that there will be glitters in the polish, but the polish actually consists only from big, chunky glitters. Big silver ones and the small ones are gold. The color is gorgeous for gift-wrapping, but not for the nails. Probably I will use this polish once a year or so, it is just too much for me. 

Today I bought four polishes from the OPI Skyfall collection. I was so upset about this HALO polish, that I didn't buy the GoldenEye polish from the Skyfall collection. Now I am more into cremes. I will take photos of the polishes and all that jazz in couple of days.

A.S.P Kitoko Oil Treatment

Today I want to share this wonderful oil treatment that my mom gave me to my birthday.
It is from a brand called A.S.P Kitoko. I have never heard about such brand. I have never seen anywhere products from this brand as well. My mom got this from her hairdresser. At the beginning I was little skeptical because as I mentioned earlier, I am not a fan of oil treatments in general. My hair is very thin with absolutely no volume. Usually oil treatments make my hair even more flat. Not in this case though.

It really is lightweight and non-greasy. I use this after washing my hair when my hair is still damp. It leaves my hair looking so shiny and healthy. I just can't explain how amazing this product is. Also it smells wonderful. You need just 2-3 drops for all your hair. Sometimes I also put it in dry hair, then they are even more shiny and moisturized. And the weirdest thing is that it really does reduce the drying time. Actually it does everything that it promises to do. 
It is expensive though. You can get it from lushduck.co.uk. 10ml costs £6.50 but 95ml £24.50. I have the big one. I think it will last me for ages though. Usually I buy these hair treatments for about £15 so £24.50 is quite a lot for me. But it is worth the money, definitely. I love this treatment so much that I think I will check out also their shampoos and conditioners. The best thing is that it is sulphate-free, paraben free and contain no waxes or mineral oils.

I'm not a fan of the bottle. I would like it to be with pump.

YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

Hello Girls!
I wanted to do a review about YSL mascara. This is the only high end mascara I have bought and only because of the packaging. When you will get to know me better you will know that my weak points are black things with gold details or just gold things. I love gold and I hate silver. I think that every makeup item in gold looks so luxurious, expensive and high quality. I'm just a sucker for these kinds of things. That's why I love YSL, because their packaging is invincible. I would like to have small pocket mirror in gold, so right now I am searching for one.
Okay, back to mascara. I like it. It is really black, easy to apply and does the job. I like the brush. It is quite long so very fast for me to do my lashes. I can't say that it is worth the money though. I like maybelline mascaras as much as this one (especially falsies). I can't say that this mascara is better than maybelline, the only differences are that YSL one has a lovely scent and fabulous packaging. If you don't care about the packaging or you even don't like the gold packaging definitely I  suggest the maybelline mascaras. They are three times cheaper.
So, overall I like this mascara mainly because of the packaging. It does the job, lashes are quite long, really black, it separates the lashes really well it's just that maybelline ones do the same for my lashes. I think that I will continue using the maybelline cheaper ones for everyday basis, but for special occasions or for traveling etc. I will grab for YSL one.

Right eye with no mascara, Left with YSL mascara. AS you can see, the lashes look nice - really black, quite long, really separated. The Left eye definitely looks much better than the no makeup one.

LUSH Bubble bar - The Comforter

Hey girls.
Wanted to share my thoughts and also some pictures of this LUSH bubble bar. I bought this because it looks so cool (big pink round thingy) and it also smells nice. It is huge and not very expensive compared to other LUSH stuff. I have used this already for 3 times and I have a half left. So from this one bubble bar I will get 6 baths. Quite a bargain (costs $10,95 or £4.25 by the way). I am very shocked because LUSH stuff is cheaper in Latvia than in the USA (the same price than in the UK). It really is a bubble bar because bath is full with bubbles. For the first time in my life I have seen that much bubbles in the bath. When I was a little girl I always wanted big bubbles in my bath. There were almost none in my bath. So I am happy now that I can get real bubble bath. The bubble bar smells very nice, but when it is dissolved in water, the smell somehow disappears. Maybe it is because I put so small chunk in my bath. This bubble bar don't moisturize your skin and also don't leave it feeling dry. Overall I really like it. I think that LUSH bubble bars would be great gifts for kids.

Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in 130 Peach Juice

Hello girls!
Wanted to do a review about this lipstick. Recently I have worn in pretty much every day. It looks very girly still simple. I like to wear it day to day basis because you don't need lip pencil for this one. It looks and feels like a lip balm. Pink with a bit of shimmer in it. Lipstick glides on very easily and don't leave your lips feeling dry or sticky. It is not very lasting though.It is quite sheer as well, but it is not a problem for me. I usually put like three layers on my lips and refresh them every 2 hours or so. As I said, it is like a lip balm, only not that moisturizing. It is not the case with all Maybelline Colorsensational lipsticks. A lot of them are really pigmented and the staying time also is great.
The packaging also is quite nice, pink, with rainbow swirls.
I think that this one is really nice lipstick for every day basis. Very affordable as well. 

Before I started writing this blog, I had no idea that my lips are totally asymmetric. Just look at my lips (the kissing ones). They raise a laugh.
